I was always into running, ran few half and full marathons. After every long run I used to get some sort of pain in lower back, knees and was tired and worn out for the next 4/5 days. I then decided to have a look at one of my running videos, realised how ineffective and out of sync i was between the body and mind. I was able to feel it in one look that there was something wrong with my posture but couldn’t figure out what!? I got in touch with a Chi running instructor, and came to know about importance of posture, use of forces as my ally and other improvement drills.
I practised Chi running for almost two years and felt the wonderful changes it brought to my running style and efficiency. Now I run injury free and all runs are meditative and enjoyable. I felt that if I can get others runners to feel the same way then it will be a gift for everyone and that’s when I decided to become an instructor.
Chi running have drastically improved my running and now I do “mindful running” as every sense of my body is in a listening and feel mode and am able to enjoy those moments of oneness.
My motto “Run to enjoy” and Chi running is exactly what you need to do that.
